  1. Support diversity in membership and meeting attendees.
  2. Support diversity in leadership and committees.
  3. Create a culture of inclusiveness at all ISES events.

Description

The Diversity Committee of the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) was formed in November 2014. We define diversity as the broad range of attributes, experiences, and characteristics that makes us unique. These include but are not limited to: national origin, language, race, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, veteran status, career status, employer, and family structures. We define inclusion as creating an environment and culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility and fairness; and leverages diversity so each person has the opportunity to participate fully in the mission of ISES and is valued for his or her distinctive skills and capabilities.
