By registering for and attending the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) Annual Meeting, each participant acknowledges that it has read the policies and disclaimers below, and expressly releases ISES and its board or council members, directors, officers, employees, or agents from any and all liability in connection with such Meeting as provided herein.

 

Participation Policy

The International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) Annual Meeting brings together public health professionals and other participants to share the latest research and information, learn, network and engage with their peers. The opinions, statements, presentations, data, images, videos, documents and other information expressed or otherwise shared by presenters or other participants at the Annual Meeting are for informational purposes only. The views and opinions expressed by presenters are not those of ISES, unless expressly indicated otherwise. ISES nor its board or council members, directors, officers, employees, or agents shall be responsible for the accuracy, quality or reliability of any of the materials presented, or liable for any incidental, special, consequential damages or other arising therefrom.

 

Media and Recording Policy

ISES and news media may take photos and videos during the Annual Meeting. By attending the Meeting, each participant consents to being filmed, photographed,  and/or recorded during and in connection with the Meeting and consent to the use or publication of such recordings in connection with any promotional, educational or professional purposes. Each participant releases ISES and its board or council members, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all liability arising from the recordings or their uses, including for infringement of proprietary rights, invasion of privacy, defamation or any other cause of action, and waives any right to inspect or approve such recordings and any and all rights to payment of royalties in connection therewith. Only ISES authorized vendors and credentialed working journalists who are registered with ISES are permitted to video and/or audio-record scientific sessions. Use or sharing of any material should acknowledge the author/presenter and, as appropriate, the meeting

 

Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Policy

In support of the ISES mission to bring the full value of exposure science to research and decision-making to improve human health and the environment, ISES is committed to fostering the exchange of information and ideas and the enhancement of professional expertise among members and across disciplines in a healthy, harassment-free environment. The Society strives to create an equitable environment where diverse voices are active in all aspects of our organization. This requires a culture of inclusion in which all individuals feel respected and are treated fairly. As such harassment of any type will not be condoned in any ISES sponsored endeavor, including the Annual Meeting. Privacy Policy

Personal data will be collected, processed and stored by Infinity Conference Group (the “Processor”), on behalf of the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) in its capacity as data controller, only for the preparation and execution of the ISES 2020 Annual Meeting, September 21-22, 2020. Limited attendee data will be shared with LabRoots, the virtual meeting production company, to facilitate entry into the virtual event.

Attendees’ personal data will be retained securely and under the applicable law. You may at any time request access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, erasure or limited processing, portability of your data, or oppose to the processing by written request addressed to the Data Controller through the email address info@ises.org.
