Students and New Reseachers

Welcome, Students and New Researchers!

Exposure science cuts across many disciplines, and any undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and new researchers with an interest in exposure science are welcome to join the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES). For students and new researchers, ISES offers great opportunities for career development, education, interaction with peers, mentorship, and networking in addition to providing a platform for presentation and discussion of research. The ISES Students and New Researchers committee initiates and facilitates many of these opportunities.

ISES has a great student and new researcher community. Join us on @ISES Students and New Researchers Group and @ISESSNR!

We have created and curated resources to help you succeed as you start –and progress!- in your career in exposure science. All of these resources are available to our members. If you are not a member yet, please go to the Membership tab to find out how you can become a member! If you have questions or suggestions for us, or are interested in participating with the Students and New Researchers Committee, please email

Academic Programs in Exposure Science

Exposure science is a multidisciplinary field drawing expertise from various disciplines including epidemiology, toxicology, engineering, public health, environmental health sciences, policy, biostatistics, pharmacology, biology, chemistry, industrial hygiene, urban and regional planning, and many other fields.

Below is a list of universities and programs from which ISES members currently doing work in the field of exposure science are seeking or have received degrees.

For the most current information on the specific degree programs please visit the respective university websites. If you would like for us to add another university/degree program please email the Student and New Researchers Committee at
